Like I said, hate to do it, normally i only leave a review of i gaff a great experience, but I feel people should be warned. If someone willing to mess with food worked at a restaurant that I ate at, I'd be upset if people knew and didn't tell me.
The bad review posted by the person identified as JM has really bothered me. Based on my experience in helping Alma at the restaurant, I know for a fact that it is impossible to receive a cheeseburger cooked the day before because each one is cooked to order when ordered. I also have known every employee who has been employed there and know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there has never been one who would commit such a heinous act and intentially put foreign matter in someone's food or sabotage the food in any way. Although service may take a little longer in busy times, the food is always cooked fresh and of the best quality. Additionally, Alma is always readily available to customers who have a problem with their order. Negative comments like the ones posted by JM can have a detrimental effect on business. I would hope that current and future customers would weigh this one review with the merit it deserves which is none. Thank you.
The food is great and you can't beat the price on the Tuesday hotdogs Thursday wing night and Sunday buffet. The waitresses and cooks are always polite and courteous. Mrs. Alma is always kind and gets to know the customers by taking to them asking where they are from if they are not local.
But again, our waitress was vey nice about it.
I hate to do this, but this needs a review. Someone here tampered with our food. A clump of hair was in the cheeseburger. Not a single hair as if by a simple accident-like someone took a clump of hair off an animal and put in the burger. It looked like it was from a dog. Our poor waitress/cook was vey understanding and apologetic and allowed us to go free. But she also informed us that she only warmed up the beef which had been cooked the evening before (take from that whay you will), so she had no clue who was responsible.
